In 2014, Nick Robinson stand up paddled 32km from the towns of Mertola (Alentejo, Portugal) to Alcoutim (Algarve, Portugal). It was exhilarating. He told some new paddle board friends and they clamoured to go down again with him. Six months later the 2015 Guadiana Challenge took place with the 18 of the top paddle boarders in Portugal joining Nick. In 2016, 70 participants slogged down the river route and this year in 2017 he’s doing it again. “After the radical rise in popularity of such a unique event we want to focus more on the social aspects this year.” says

Join us for the Second Annual Space City Paddlefest hosted by Team Hokulele. Since Hokulele members paddle multiple craft and participate in multiple paddling disciplines, this race highlights the soul and mission of the club.  The club is staging four races for different paddle craft and skill levels.  All of these events will be staged from the accommodating and user-friendly grounds of Clear Lake Park in Seabrook, TX on the shores of Mud Lake.   For those novice and recreational paddlers, there will be a 5K course (2 laps of 2.5K) held on Mud Lake.  This event will be for all types of craft, SUP, OC-1, OC6,

With a new venue lined up the 2017 National WaterSports Festival (NWF) is set to be the best yet. This year the SUP element promises to deliver on all fronts with Rutland water as its location. Set in its own-beached area with full access to the water there will be plenty happening over the weekend of the 3rd and 4th June. 6th Annual Paddle at the Porch Hits Gulf Waters on August 19 Destin, Fla., March 15 – The 6th Annual Paddle at the Porch, a stand up paddle board race, will take place on Saturday, Aug. 19, in the beautiful emerald green Gulf waters behind The Back Porch Seafood & Oyster House in Destin, Fla. It offers races for all skill and age levels, with its Kids’ Fun Paddle, 1-Mile Beginner Ride, 3-Mile Recreational Race, and 6-Mile Elite Race.
